What does it cost to work with Stewardship Advisors, LLC?

We offer a complimentary introductory meeting, which gives you the opportunity to evaluate our firm and its services to ensure we are a good fit for you. Every client’s situation is unique and we build flexibility into our fee structure to reflect that belief. Our fee will be based upon the complexity of your financial situation and/or the amount of assets we will be managing. Once we determine an appropriate fee, it will be clearly outlined in the proposal we provide before you sign any paperwork to begin working with Stewardship Advisors, LLC.

Is Stewardship Advisors, LLC a fiduciary?

Stewardship Advisors, LLC is a fiduciary, which means we are legally required to act in your best interest by placing your financial interests above our own. The fiduciary standard is considered the highest level of care by which a financial advisor can operate.

What is a CFP® Professional?

The Certified Financial Planner® certification is awarded by the CFP Board to individuals who have met certain requirements. A CFP® professional is held to strict ethical standards and must ensure that all planning recommendations are in a client’s best interest. In order to obtain the designation an individual must take the required education courses, pass rigorous exams, meet experience and ethical requirements and keep up to date with continuing education courses.

What Rate of Return can I expect?

We believe that each client situation is unique so we will design an investment portfolio to meet your needs. Your rate of return will vary based upon your desired level of risk, your investment timeline, your investment goals, etc. We use various tools to help design an appropriate portfolio and continually monitor and review the portfolio to ensure your expectations are met.

What is your investment philosophy?

We utilize a strategic asset allocation approach to investing, with a long-term view of the markets. We recommend investment models to suit various risk tolerances. We also provide a values-based portfolio for clients that can deliver positive social or environmental impact alongside financial returns. Our ESG portfolio focuses on environmental issues such as climate change, pollution, and energy efficiency along with screening out investments that might generate revenue from the sale of alcohol, tobacco, gambling, and controversial weapons. We typically recommend portfolios that contain exchange traded funds (ETFs) and mutual funds.

Do you have asset minimums?

No. As mentioned in the question above, we have flexibility in creating a fee structure for your situation that does not require any asset minimums.

What is your financial planning philosophy?

We employ a holistic approach to financial planning that may include the following areas:

  • retirement savings planning
  • social security maximization
  • retirement income planning
  • investment planning
  • education funding
  • charitable giving
  • tax planning
  • estate planning

This approach allows for not only a thorough analysis but also a refined focus of your goals and objectives. We will present you with a summary of our recommendations and guide you in the implementation of some or all of the recommendations as per your decisions. We strongly encourage ongoing reviews of your plan so that necessary adjustments can be employed as your situation changes.

Who will I work with?

We employ a team approach in working with you as we feel this allows us to provide an unparalleled level of service. While you will have a primary advisor, you will interact with various members of our team based upon your needs and requests. In addition, you will have access to our network of accountants, attorneys or other professionals in order to provide a comprehensive financial plan.

What is a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA)?

A registered investment advisor, or RIA, is a "person or firm that, for compensation, is engaged in the act of providing advice, making recommendations, issuing reports or furnishing analyses on securities, either directly or through publications" according to The Investment Advisers Act of 1940. Stewardship Advisors, LLC is a Registered Investment Advisor that is domiciled in the state of Pennsylvania and registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
